Since I will be a full-time Mommy in two weeks, I thought I'd better start now with my efforts to find replacement playmates for the kids at Little C's daycare. Of all people, Katie (one of my single with no children friends) suggested I check out www.meetup.com. So, I did and wow! What a great idea! I found a group for moms looking for activities planned around the DC Metro stops. Perfect! The next scheduled event is for next Thursday to the Folklife Festival on The Mall. I won't be able to go though since I'll be working then. But, I'm glad I saw this because I almost forgot about the Festival. I think I'll bring this up to My Man and maybe we'll make it one of our weekend outings.
