I'm going to start blogging about how I came to stick to a budget. I love finances and money (being an ex-accountant and all). I did hesitate for quite some time about whether to talk about the method that I use, because I don't want to appear pretentious. But sheesh, I just love the stuff! And I figure that the best thing to do is blog about stuff that I'm passionate about.
To kick things off, I'd like to give away my copy of Suze Orman's Woman & Money. I love Suze. I love how she tells it like it is. There is discussion about getting a will and how to get rid of debt and basics of retirement accounts. There are tons of comments about this book on Amazon (which I linked to above), so you can get a better idea if this is the book for you.
So, leave a comment telling me how wonderful I am (just kidding, but if you want to I won't be mad:) and then I will pick someone when we get back from vaca on the 18th or 19th.

I really need to stick to a budget
Derrek and I were just talking about sticking to a budget. How do you stick to a budget if you don't even know what you r budget is? We started getting all frustrated and then gave up for now. I would love to win this book because 1. I know you read it and you are able to stick to a budget and 2. I want to learn and who better to learn from right? If I don't win I may just buy it anyways so I maybe can read it and have somewhere to start. If I just knew how to even plan to have a budget then maybe I could have a budget that works!
