The Smile Award

The girls over at The Jos Know gave me this award! Woohoo! Thank you! This actually couldn't have come at a better time since I've been in a bloggy rut. And now they have guilted motivated me to post more. So, here are the characteristics of the Smile Award:

1. Must display a cheerful attitude. (not necessarily at all times - we are all humans)
2. Must love one another
3. Must make mistakes
4. Must learn from others
5. Must be a positive contributor to the blog world
6. Must love life
7. Must love kids

And here are the rules:

1. The recipient must link back to the awards creator
2. You must post these rules if you receive the award
3. You must choose 5 people to receive the award after receiving it yourself
4. You must fit the characteristics of the recipient of the award (see above)
5. You must post the characteristics of a recipient
6. You must create a post sharing your win with others
7. You must thank your giver

So, here are the 3 people I want to give a Smile Award to:

Kainoa over at Cook O'hana. She posts about her life with my brother (they're married). Definitely cheerful and loving, she's a busy lady and it's always interesting to see read about how someone is making life work with a smile on their face. Also, she was once a nanny, so you know what that means, she's got #7 covered.

Little Bits of Everything She (I actually don't know her name) posts about all kinds of stuff that makes me laugh or drool or awwwww or think "I have to make that!". And the design of her blog is cheery enough to win an award on its own.

Kris at Weird, Unsocialized Homeschoolers. Since I've recently come back to being a full-time mom again, I'm always looking for great ideas of how to keep Caleb engaged. Kris' blog has great ideas and helps me to not give up (not that it's really an option, but that doesn't stop me from thinking about every once in while)

I can only name three people right now because most of the blogs I read are more serious and big-time. I'd like to spend some time trying to find smaller blogs that really make me smile and then I will post two more later.

That is so great to get a smile award Marie! I am so happy for you and thanks for passing it on to me too! Smiles are good. Now my only problem is how to post it on my blog. You probably think I'm a goober, cause I tried once and it didn't work. HELP!
