I really wanted to post some pictures though, so here is one of our apartment after they packed everything up. Everyone was shocked at how much stuff we had. We had gotten pretty good at "hiding" our things.
And here are two from our drive from Morgan Hill to Monterey. The pictures don't do the colors justice. The grass was sucha gorgeous bright green. I remembered why I actually liked long road trips as a little girl. I would stare at scenery like this and imagine myself riding a horse along those lush hills. I'm so glad we moved here... even though we're going to get robbed with taxes.

Looks like a maze of boxes! I love the hills, I miss seeing them! When I lived in Morgan Hill for 9 months I loved watching the hills change colors with the seasons! I am jealous of you, you get to visit the ocean and you get change of seasons! What more could one want!
BY the way I just had to say...WELCOME TO CALIFORNIA THE LAND OF BEING TAXED FOR EVERYTHING UNDER THE SUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ugh. everything is more expensive too. our car insurance, renters insurance, gasoline, etc. i'm wondering how much shane's paycheck is going to go down because the state taxes are higher too. it sucks, but knowing that we get something priceless out of it, more family time, makes it bearable. you guys just better not move far away from us now that we're here!!!
