Would you...?

If you had to choose, would you pay a great price for a large rental house out in the middle of nowhere with a large yard and gorgeous gas stove, but in a neighborhood with not many kids and a terrible school system that has to teach half the class in Spanish and has a problem with gangs? Or would you choose the too-small house in the middle of everything with one bathroom and no tub that cost too much, but has lots of kids Caleb's age and great schools?

We're having a terrible time trying to find a rental here. I mean, how do you raise kids without a tub? Someone please explain this to me!

Gosh that is a hard one. Were you going to home school Caleb? I personally would love to have more space. That is just me though. You are right, how can you raise a kid without a tub, I mean seriously! Kids don't take showers, what are you going to do with Ana when she outgrows the sink, shower her? LOL. I am just trying to make you smile! I will be thinking of you and hoping things turn out for you all. It will work itself out!

omg! you have me laughing so hard imagining showering Ana when she's still a baby! for now, i'm not planning on homeschooling caleb. i just don't think it's right for us right now. but i'm going to be open to it if things don't go well for what ever reason. i've started to teach him to read, but i'm not sure he's ready because he's not getting it just yet. i might just give him a little more time. maybe once Ana is a few months old, it'll be a better time.

Some times you have to wait, longer than you'd like, for the right place to come along.

That's a tough one, but having the space for a boy to run sure is compelling.

I'd personally go for the tub and the yard. But that's just me...
