I can't remember having Braxton-Hicks contractions with Caleb. I'm sure I did, but just didn't know my body well enough to recognize them. But, I'm definitely feeling them now. It's pretty easy to know what's going on, since they come pretty consistently. Sometimes, I get them about every 10 to 15 minutes. Thank goodness they aren't painful, just uncomfortable. My belly (or uterus, whatever) just gets super hard and tight.
I'm 37 weeks along today. I'm feeling pretty good. I know I don't have much to complain about since I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't get sick. And I'm actually not as tired as I was a few weeks ago. It helps that Shane has stopped sleeping in and gets up with Caleb most mornings. And he's also taken over the bedtime duties for Caleb. I help every once in a while, but I'm trying to let him take care of it and just rest and take advantage of these last few weeks.
I do feel anxious about giving birth though. I'm so ready to not have this big belly attached to me. I can't wait to have her sleeping on my chest instead. And I'm looking forward to not being bent over at a 45 degree angle to wash dishes, haha :) The other thing that I'm looking forward to is not swelling up. This is another thing that I didn't experience with Caleb. My hands and feet (but mostly my hands) swell up randomly, at least once a day. If Shane is around he'll massage them and it feels like the tips of my fingers are going to burst. He usually comments that they are really warm too. It also happens if I am standing for long periods of time.

I can feel it all as you describe it like it's me instead of you. It's all still so fresh. I hope your BH contractions are productive. I can't wait for this little one to come! YEAH!
Seems like things are progressing. That is a good thing! I am glad you have a chance to rest while Shane helps you out, you will need all the energy you can for the big day! Can't wait to see Anna!
I had BH constantly with my last one, starting at 5 months!
It sounds like you are ready! :) I love having babies, but I always got nervous to deliver them!!
I hope the best for you, and cannot wait to see pics of your baby on your chest ;)
I have been wondering how you are doing! You are so close. Like Joanna, it is still pretty fresh in my mind about the swelling. I remember feeling like my fingertips would explode from the swelling, too. How nice that Shane is massaging them for you. I cannot wait to hear that she is here!
