Impromptu Fun Day

The Monterey Aquarium has free admission to county residents on the 20th of every month. I found this out at 12 noon on the 20th, so I fed the kid lunch and we headed out to Monterey.



I love these fish that can change their skin to their surroundings. So amazing!



We walked around a little at Cannery Row for a little while and had a ridiculously expensive, but super yummy hot fudge sundae. It was a nice day out, so we even got to sit outside. I felt really sad that Shane couldn't enjoy it with us. It made me realize what a sacrifice he makes by supporting our lifestyle.



I just love how there is so much to do here! It's so easy to find something fun to do. And the best thing is that it'll never get cold enough to have to hibernate for months at a time.
