The House

Well, the counter was way over what we can afford. I guess I should have been expecting that. But I was so hopeful that this was the house we're supposed to have.

We countered with our max amount, but I'm not feeling so confident this time. And I'm trying to fight being very sad about this because tomorrow is the last day for us to qualify for the $6,500 home buyer tax credit. It would be really nice to have that extra money to pay for the move and other things. Although, this house is really solid and it's not likely we would have to spend a lot to fix it up.

I just noticed that they scheduled an open house for this Sunday. That's not a good sign. Maybe I should look at it as them being proactive. ugh. I can't wait for this to be over either way. I'm totally obsessed.
