I've been wanting to go to a technique class at Williams-Sonoma for quite a while. A couple weeks ago I finally signed up for two: Extreme Ice Cream and Pizza. I almost forgot about them, but happened to remember just a couple days ago and thank goodness I hadn't missed them. Unfortunately, My Man had already scheduled a tee time with some work buddies. So, being the good wife I am, I took Little C with me so he didn't have to cancel. I thought this would work out nicely since Little C seems very interested in cooking and frequently demands to "help" me cook. But being that he is just barely three and half years old, he wasn't all that interested in the interesting facts that the Williams-Sonoma employee was offering. He almost made it all the way through the hour long demonstration, but I won't be taking him to the Pizza class in two weeks. There were quite a few kids there though. Two little girls and a boy, all around 9 years old, were well entertained and behaved very well. This is definitely something I want to keep in mind for an activity that Little C and I can do in a couple of years. Just in case anyone is interested, here is the class schedule that I'm pretty sure is the same at all Williams-Sonoma locations. They do have a sign-up sheet, but no one checked it when the class started and it would be easy enough to just show up without signing up first. Also, all classes are at 11:00 a.m.
