Cheaper White Mochas

About 10 years ago, a friend bought a can of Ghirardelli ground white chocolate powder. She spooned it into her coffee and it made a luscious drink. I since have been obsessed with checking every Ghirardelli store for ground white chocolate, but never did find it. I also searched online, but could only find huge containers weighing half a ton (slight exaggeration). Until now! I'm simply giddy! My recent internet search for Ghirardelli ground white chocolate resulted in a purchase from Serious Chai. I ordered the ground white chocolate, raspberry syrup, and caramel sauce. They also have white chocolate sauce.

Of course, it doesn't taste quite as good as a Starbucks white chocolate mocha, but when considering the cost factor, it's a worthy substitution.

So, here's the low-down on how to smart shop at Serious Chai. Go here and click on the link for the $5 coupon. They'll send it to you right away. Also, be sure to check out the free samples (link is on the same page as the coupon). I requested a Kidz Kreamz Orangesicle single pack. It was so good! I'll have to order this on my next order. They actually threw in another free sample, which was one single serving of this chai. It was also really good, reminded me of the super expensive chai from Tastefully Simple.

They also shipped very quickly. I got my box in three days!

Oh, I forgot to say that I have a french press and I make really strong coffee in it and then add lots of milk. It's the poor woman's latte :)
