Spending Money for the Fun of It

Over the past year, I've been pretty good about not buying stuff that I don't really need.  This mostly involves not buying more yarn.  I'm trying to save up my money for a serger and a dress form.  But, I think I'm feeling a bit deprived because I find myself wanting to buy some things on Etsy.  Things that I don't really need because I wouldn't use these things right away.  I would get them in the mail, fell happy for a few minutes, and then store them in my closet for later use.  So, I know I really shouldn't spend the money.  But what is it about spending money that seems like so much fun?  Because it really is.  And I really want to.

So, I'm going to tell you about the things that I want to buy and maybe in doing so, I'll have so much fun that I won't feel like buying them anymore.  (I'm delusional, I know.)

This really cute red vinyl fabric with little russian dolls. I'd make a garden apron out of it. But wait! I don't have a yard. Hmmm... should definitely wait on this one.

This super cool zipper. I think if we have a girl, I'll have to get this. It would be so cute on a knitted cardi.

This super cute pattern for knitted Maryjane Booties! How cute!

This or this linen sewing tape. But really, I have no idea what to do with it. But, it's really cute, and so, it would make me really happy, right?

This or this wall decal. I really should wait until we have a house for these.
