Fresh Squeezed Quilt - All Pau!

I ended up doing the stippling all over. (Click on the picture to super-size and check it out.) The more I did it, the more consistent and comfortable it was. It was actually pretty fun to do! I'm not sure I'd want to do it for a really big quilt though. I used Crazy Moms Quilts' binding tutorial for the binding. This is a really great tutorial with tons of pictures. I got a Fons and Porter quilting book from the library to help with the binding, but I actually found Crazy Mom's tutorial more helpful.

I'm really happy with the way it turned out even though there are some really rough parts, like where the bobbin thread pulled really tight for an inch or two in random places. It's definitely not gift-worthy. But, I'm sure my little girl will love it. Besides, this way, if it starts to fall apart, I can always fix it and will know how to make my other quilts stronger. I really want to start on another quilt! Or should I make a tiny little dress?

Yeah, I feel like I'm getting lots done lately. Well, more than I usually do anyway. I haven't been doing any knitting. I have passed up two sales at yarn shops in the past few weeks. Not even interested. But, I won't miss a sale at one of the quilt shops nearby on the first weekend in April! This could mean trouble for my closet, since I have already run out of room for my stash. I need a craft room!!!

Ooh I love all the bright colors you used. How fabulous does it look and I am sure that stippling can become addictive.
