Didn't I Used to Be a Knitter?

I have been having so much fun sewing and quilting that I haven't done any knitting in quite some time. Sewing is just so much quicker and therefore motivating for me right now. But, I happened upon this free pattern. I think this is a terrible picture, they should have made the background dark or something cause everything is so white and washed out.

It's just too cute! I'd make it in some girly color for Ana though. And I think I'll make it in the 12-18 month size so she'll be able to wear it longer. I've already packed up all my yarn and fabric, but I'm pretty sure I don't have the yarn for this project in my stash anyway. Which means I'll have to make one more trip to Knit Happens before we leave. The good thing about knitting is that it is so much more portable than sewing. So, I think it'll be a good project to work on while we are making the transition to our Monterey home. We'll likely be in a hotel for two weeks, so it'll be good to have a project.

We're off to So. Carolina today to see Shane's family before we go to Cali and I'm taking two nearly complete knitting projects with us. I'm hoping to finish them. I hope to have some progress to show you on Tuesday.
