The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (sorry no pictures)

The Good:
Ana continues to sleep more at night! We usually put her down between 8 and 8:30 pm now and she sleeps until 5:30 or 6:30 am! She is such an easy baby!

The Bad (but not really):
I think she's teething. She's never been drooly, which I've noticed only because Caleb was extremely drooly. So much so that we had to change his clothes with every diaper change. Ana gets two outfits a day: day outfit and nightgown. She also has never been one to cry for no reason. That's why it struck me as strange yesterday when she suddenly had copious amounts of drool and wouldn't stop fussing no matter what I did. She also felt a little warm (but no fever). I gave her a tiny bit of Tylenol in the evening and she calmed down and went right to sleep.

I was just looking through Caleb's baby book and he got his first tooth when he was three months old. I noted that he handled the teething process very well and we didn't notice any difference in his behavior. I realize now that this is because he was already the drooliest baby ever and often crabby and inconsolable.

The Ugly:
She's been spitting up a few times a week. And when I say "spitting up", I really mean projectile vomiting everything I just spent the last hour feeding her. When this happens, I feel so defeated. When it happens, I hold her tightly against me so all the yuckiness doesn't get all over the carpet or recliner. I also get so bummed out that I usually just stand there in defeat and sadness. Shane, meanwhile, runs around trying to grab a towel and new change of clothes. The funny thing is, that we are usually in a frenzy, but Sweet Georgiana? She just smiles and coos at us while we clean her up. You'd think she'd be screaming her head off, but she doesn't. Such a good baby!

That is great that Ana is sleeping more and more through the night! Things do get better as they get older. Poor baby teething already! Caleb got teeth young too huh? As for the projectile spit up...that is no fun! Sweet baby Ana still mellow through the whole thing. She is one great baby! Enjoy and good luck!

Awwwwwwww!!! Don't be sad, it just LOOKS like she spit up her entire meal - she didn't really! ;)

I am glad your second baby is easy, that is how it worked for me too!! :)
