How did I cook the green beans? Well, I really could turn the answer into numerous paragraphs, but I won't. For your sake. It went like this...
Mom lent me her copy of Julie and Julia. I watched it. I loved it. I started reading my copy of From Julia Child's Kitchen, also given to me from Mom. I bought green beans on sale for $0.69 a pound. I made Julia's green beans, making sure to follow her directions closely. Except for the part about the bread crumbs. Because I didn't have any.
If you want me to post the recipe and some pictures, let me know. I didn't want to bore you, if you don't care.
And if you clicked on the link to the book, thinking you might actually want to purchase it... I'm sorry. I really had no idea it is now ridiculously expensive. I better take really good care of my copy!

Yes, please! :)
I'd like that recipe, too!
I just read Julie and Julia and want to see the movie, now!
Okay, I'll post the recipe within the next few days. I was going to buy more green beans on sale, but today was the last day and I was going to go to the store after Shane got home, but the kids were both crying and Shane was upset and Ana wanted to eat. And so, I didn't make it to the store cause by the time things settled down, I had to make dinner. But really, it wasn't as chaotic as I'm making it sound. But sheesh, those were some cheap green beans!!
