So, what do you think Mom? Will the girls at the quilt guild love it or what??
And don't worry Kainoa, I'll be mailing this one to you :)
So a little story behind this rockin' dishtowel. I had a few minutes today to do some crafting and thought I'd finally do this dishtowel that I've been wanting to do for a really long time. Originally, I thought I should do it on a white towel, but saw this towel at Target and I love the color.
Anyway, I got my machine ready and press "OK" and it just keeps moving the hoop around so that the needle is at the top left corner, then the top right corner, then the bottom right corner... you get the picture. Ugh. And the sewing shop is an hour away, but I really want it to work for me so I thought I'd better call and make an appointment to take it in tomorrow.
I had to leave a message, but the guy at the shop called back and I explained how it was "acting kinda funny".
Me: "I keep pressing "OK" but it won't start embroidering!"
The Guy: "Well, it'll do that if you keep pressing "OK". You need to press "Start" to make it embroider.
Me: "But! I've always pressed "OK" to make it start!"
The Guy: "Um. No. You need to press "Start".
And realizing how ridiculous I sounded I started babbling about something I'd rather just forget. Then I told him that I just had to stop talking because I was babbling. And thank goodness he laughed. I felt better know that I was ridiculous in a funny way, not in a "you're kinda crazy" way.
So, he was right. I pressed "Start" and my machine started. Imagine that.

I love it Marie, the high contrast of the turquise and bubble gum pink are pleasing. But the 30 something will like it I am sure. I don't know about the granny and great grandmothers. It maybe too hip.
I will bring my handtowels and thread to get a couple. Love Mom
