Sleep Wonderful Sleep

For the past 2 weeks, Georgiana has been mostly sleeping through the night! For all but one or two nights, she only woke up once between about 11pm and 8am. She usually woke up for a feeding around 4 or 5am, which means that I've been getting 5 and 6 hours of straight sleep! And last night I got 7 straight hours of sleep!

I'm so happy that she is (mostly) sleeping through the night so early on. We had to force train Caleb to sleep through the night at 3 months because I had to take a final exam for a class that I had taken an incomplete. He was still waking up every 3 hours, even at 3 months, and I just had to get some sleep so I could study. I've always felt bad about that.

I'm feeling more like myself and this is such good timing with all of Caleb's activities going on now. The next issue on my mind now is how I can manage to go to the free sewing classes that came with the purchase of my sewing machine. They are at 7pm, which means I might have to wait until I've weened Georgiana at a year old. But, I really don't want to wait that long. We're thinking about having me pump so Shane can feed her while I'm gone. But, I remember that Caleb refused to take a bottle and I'm thinking she'll be the same way since we'll be introducing it so late. We won't try it until she's on solid food though, which is only a month and half away! I already feel like she's growing up so fast!

Anna still nurses about 6 times a day. She goes to sleep for the night sometime between 7 and 8 and wakes about 7am. I am able to nurse her at bedtime and then go out after that. Especially now that she's on solids. If I know I'm going to be out after she goes to bed I feed her a good amount of solid food and then nurse her like crazy before bed. She's 7 months old now. But before she was on solids I'd just nurse her for a long time before bed then go out. Usually it's just to Joann's or something. But maybe you wouldn't have to wait until she was weaned???

I'm glad she's sleeping better for you!
